Skadi Statue wood finish

The Norse goddess Skadi is associated with bowhunting, skiing, mountains, wolves, winter and all things wild. In this statue she is depicted wearing skis, a wolf skin coat, a quiver of arrows and holding a bow in her right hand. In her left hand she holds a serpent in reference to the snake she hung over the condemned Loki in the story of the death of Baldur. Runes along the base of the statue spell her name.

Measures 4 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches wide, with a depth of 1 1/8 inches depth
