Quartz Vera Cruz, also known as Vera Cruz Amethyst, is a rare and high-quality variety of amethyst found in the state of Veracruz, Mexico. It forms from silicon dioxide through hydrothermal process where hot, silica-rich fluids fill fissures in volcanic rock, causing silica to crystalize into quartz over time. Resulting in elongated, prismatic crystals with a characteristic clarity and color.
