Collection: Infused Oils

An infused oil, also referred to as a macerated oil, consists of a carrier oil that has been permeated (“infused” or "macerated") with one or more herbs. Usually crafted using the Cold or Hot methods. This infuses the oil with photo-chemicals that are solvent in oil. Herbs frequently used topically as oils, lotions, creams, or salves are excellent for these types of extractions. Infused Oils are the most accessible type of oil used by crafters who want an oil that is both medically suitable for topical applications, and have magickal energetic properties of the herbs being used. 

These are NOT Essential Oils which are created through a special type of distillation.
