Collection: Mabon + Autumn Equinox + Fall

Welcome in the season of Autumn with abundance and gratitude! It is pumpkin spice season for those to whom it brings joy. We are thinking about sweaters and cozy evenings; candles and glowing lights.

Full Moon September 7th: Called the Harvest Moon, Wine Moon, Song Moon, or Corn Moon. Time to acknowledge what you have cultivated and what you are harvesting, physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. The Full Moon is in Pisces intensifying emotions, intuition, and spiritual awareness. On this night a lunar eclipse will occur but it will not be visible in North America.

It is the time of year for the trees to show us their brilliant colors that have always been there as the trees stop photosynthesis and the last of the chlorophyll is turned into sugar and moves into the inner part of the tree branches, trunk, and roots. For them it is time to rest and sleep. We get to do this every night but they do it every year. They teach us how to let go of that which no longer serves us.

New Moon will occur September 21st in the sign of Virgo. Time to clean house and get organized. Try doing this with openness and understanding life's imperfections. Be gentle with yourself.

Autumn Equinox will be on September 22nd in Denver this year. It is a time of equal balance, a time to reflect, and new beginnings. It is the time when we prepare for going into the dark time of the year, a time for inner workings. or spellwork related to protection and security is appropriate now, as are workings for self-confidence, prosperity, harmony and balance. If you are one who struggles with seasonal depression during the fall and winter months, use this time to set an intention for inner peace and strength. You might make and charge a talisman for this purpose, to accompany you through the next two seasons.
