Black golden sheen obsidian is a natural obsidian with a deep black base that reveals a warm, shimmering golden or brassy reflection when turned to the light.

Grounding & Protection: Like all obsidian, it is believed to provide strong energetic protection, shields the aura from negativity, and can anchor you to the earth.

Chakra Alignment: Most commonly linked to the Root Chakra (for grounding), Solar Plexus Chakra (for personal power and will), and Third Eye Chakra (for insight and scrying

Divination & Scrying: Historically and traditionally used in polished mirrors or spheres for meditation, scrying, and inner vision.

Light within the Dark: The golden glow hidden beneath the dark surface is believed to symbolize finding inner truth, clarity, and spiritual illumination even during difficult times.

Shadow Work and Truth: It is believed to act as a mirror for self-reflection, helping people face hidden motives, ego-driven illusions, and truths they might otherwise avoid.

Personal Power: In crystal traditions, the golden shimmer is believed to be associated with activating personal power, creative manifestation, and confidence.
