Prehnite is an inosilicate of calcium and aluminium, it crystallizes in the orthorhombic crystal system, and is green to to the iron content mixing with the aluminum silicate in the crystal lattice. It can range from pale yellow to rich dark green, and the darkest green is typically epidote inclusions.
