Thieves Oil Correspondences: The story behind "thieves oil" dates back to the 15th century in Europe and Asia during the bubonic plague (also known as "The Black Death"), when four or more thieves would steal anything valuable from the deceased which were still highly contagious from the plague. However is was reported that the thieves never got sick because they would wear masks or hats that had contained a blend of herbs to protect them from the plagued bodies. This oil is a blend of herbs that can be used in aromatherapy, to prevent illnesses, and can be used as protection.
